Summer Job Grant Update

We’re recruiting now for 1200 summer camp staff and volunteers.

Like many faith organizations, we were unable to sign a newly required attestation regarding eligibility for summer job grants and all of our applications for funding have been denied.

Since then, we have been hard at work to replace the $200,000 we previously received through the federal Summer Job Grant program. In the past, this money has helped us hire positions that require particular training and skills, like life guards, waterfront and recreational instructors and assistant cooks.

It takes almost 1,200 staff and volunteers to care for the nearly 10,000 campers we welcome at our nine camps each summer. These staff are committed to creating an environment at camp where children, teens and young adults can learn more about Jesus in a community of friends and beautiful creation. Camp is a life-changing experience for children and teens in large part because of our staff team.

Your support has meant the world to us. So far, we have raised nearly $50,000 toward our goal of $200,000.

We will distribute all donations to our Staff Our Camps fund to our nine camps as needed. With more campers registering each day, we’re eager for each of them to experience their best week ever at camp this summer through a talented and dynamic staff team.

You can make a donation to Staff Our Camps here. Thank you so much for helping us staff our camps!
