Our Stories
Creation is Calling
Do you feel it? That longing in your bones to be among the trees and sitting by the water? The craving for a fire, s’mores, and deep, lifechanging conversations?
There’s something about being outside that we can’t get enough of. Scripture talks about the renewing power of Creation. In Psalm 23, David writes of God, “He leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul” (ESV). We, as God’s created, are fulfilled by being with our Creator in his creation.
Our camps sit on some of the most beautiful and serene landscapes in Canada. Camp is a space for friendship, fun, and tech detox. It’s a time that gives kids (and grownups!) a chance to recover from the fast and overwhelming pace we live in day-to-day. Camp is a place where we can connect with people, get our bodies moving outside, and are restored by God in his beautiful Creation. More than ever before, this generation needs this regulating practice of slowing down, being loved well, and being restored by our good God.
