Today’s #interntuesday from Winnipeg is known fo Today’s #interntuesday from Winnipeg is known for being thoughtful, kind and getting very excited about any prospect of drinking bubble tea. Meet Hannah Guerrero. ⠀ ⠀ She recently graduated from Community Development, Public Affairs and Policy Studies at Dawson College and Concordia University. As she reflects on her university years, she is in awe at God’s faithfulness - how God spoke to her through studying the book of Mark in first year, taught her to trust him, to love others and to lead.⠀ ⠀ In her final year, Hannah was touched while at a retreat as she heard stories from campus ministers about how God called them to give their lives to share the gospel with students. She felt God changing her heart from the inside-out and saw breakthrough in several areas of her life. Meet Euan, coming in from @AlbertaPioneerCamps.⠀ ⠀ As a camper at Pioneer, Euan has fond memories of swimming in glacier-fed streams and being on top of mountains while on out-trips. He became a camp counselor and learned to cherish the relationships he made with friends and the closeness he felt with God in the depths of serving. ⠀ ⠀ Euan’s friends can count on him to be there to help out with a smile on, no matter what’s going down. When not helping out you can find Euan playing rugby, cross-country skiing or cooking up some pancakes in the kitchen.⠀ ⠀ Euan has a servant heart and a peaceful spirit. Yep, it’s #interntuesday and you can be stoked t Yep, it’s #interntuesday and you can be stoked to meet another camp folk.⠀ ⠀ Introducing Sidney Morton. 🏙️🏚️ Sidney has lived in several cities spanning North America in her short life, but this semester she is calling @circlesquareranchbcl home. 🐇⠀ ⠀ While riding horses 🐴 at the barn may be her happy place, she enjoys anything spontaneous, from a good hug to a midnight jog 🤸. She is fierce and fun. ⠀ ⠀ Sidney joined the barn staff team in 2019 and despite only working a few weeks, her camp memories are sweet. She joined the LEAD internship because it’s the best to belong to a friendly, intentional community that puts God first. ⠀ ⠀ One of her best camp memories is worshipping during a campfire the last week of August. She could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and was struck by the beauty of all her friends kneeling and worshipping Jesus. For this exciting #interntuesday, we head out West For this exciting #interntuesday, we head out West to InterVarsity Pioneer Camp Alberta!⠀ ⠀ 🏔️ Meet Timothy Larsen, a LEAD intern embracing his natural habitat in the great expanses of @albertapioneercamps. ⠀ ⠀ When Tim’s fall plans fell through and he found out about the opportunity to work and grow at Pioneer, he was confident it was God’s leading. With a history at summer camp, he loves the opportunity to go deep with people in such a magnificent natural setting. ⠀ ⠀ 🔨 He has been digging in and lending a hand to building projects around camp this season - finishing building cabins, fixing fences and roofs. ⠀ ⠀ Outgoing and adventurous, Tim loves to go scrambling up the Rocky Mountains 🏞️ or ride a horse 🐎 off the beaten trails to find secluded areas of the forest.
