University of Alberta – Graduate
The Graduate Student Fellowship at the University of Alberta is a place for graduate students to come and encounter Jesus! There are three tenets to how we live out our faith: 1. Proclaiming the Gospel – we want people to know and encounter Jesus in and through us, and we recognise that we are sent by God into this world to bear witness to Him, and be about His Kingdom work. 2. Living Loyal to the King – our lives are shaped by profound and intentional loyalty to King Jesus – this is one way to describe faith, as it is a belief that transforms our lives. 3. Pursuing Academic Excellence – we believe we are sent by God specifically into the Academy, and see that part of our faithfulness to Jesus is in doing the work we are called to with excellence and high standards. Academic work is important, and matters. Some of the ways we gather together are through Bible studies, prayer meetings, and feasting times throughout the semester. Join us as we talk about the important questions of life!
