Hannah Willmann

Campus Minister
ON Ottawa University

Hannah works amongst the graduate student community at the University of Ottawa, where she completed her own PhD and Master’s degrees in music history. Her vision is to help Christian graduate students see their studies as an opportunity to worship Jesus and partner with Him in His redemptive mission in the world. She longs to see a flourishing community of students who are growing in love for Christ through prayer, worship, and study. Her prayer is that God would be shaping students to become people of peace, joy, hope, and hospitality so that their colleagues might receive the good news of Jesus, and the academy be transformed.

When she’s not on campus or with students, Hannah is usually spending time with her church family, or enjoying the Ottawa scenery via hiking, cycling, or skating (depending on the season). She’s always down to get coffee or bubble tea, nerd out about music, Scripture, the joys of life in Ottawa, or commiserate about the trials of academic pursuit.

A Bible passage that inspires her work is Psalm 145:11-12: “They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and tell of Your power, to make known to the children of man Your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendour of Your kingdom.” .
