We are eager to reach and welcome international students. Fostering their natural inclinations to begin a new chapter in their lives, meeting practical needs, nurturing a home-away-from-home community, and providing attentive care from InterVarsity staff lay the foundation for transformation that has the potential to ripple through families and nations. Being away from home during Christmas can be one of the most difficult times of the year. We will be gathering international students to retreat from the city at a local camp where they can experience a “Canadian Christmas”–singing carols, hearing the Christmas story, giving and receiving gifts, and enjoying winter activities. We will then welcome these students in January with generous hospitality to be part of our International Student community on campus.
