Schubert Hernando

High School Ministry Edmonton

Schubert first began attending an InterVarsity group in university. Through the group’s Bible studies, he rediscovered a love for studying and teaching the Bible. Now, he disciples high school students, inviting them to have a relationship with Christ, to live their lives in a manner worthy of the gospel, and to understand the riches of the gospel so that they can boldly proclaim their faith wherever they go.

Schubert has worked as a camp counselor and has degrees in music composition and Christian studies. Schubert also teaches piano and works as a freelance musician.

A go-to verse for Schubert is Galatians 2:20, which says “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
