Vera works to see students discover and rediscover how amazing life following Jesus is. Her life was drastically transformed by Jesus when she was in university and she wants to invite others to experience new life in Jesus too.
She is passionate about teaching, especially using manuscript Bible studies to teach students about the life of Jesus and what it looks like to follow him. She knows that wonderful things are possible when people gather around scripture and ask questions about life, God and faith.
For fun, Vera enjoys swing dancing. Her go-to Bible verse is Isaiah 30:21 (ESV): And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
