High School Ministry – Calgary

 

Calgary HSM works with high school students across the city who lead Christian clubs in their schools. Through these clubs, students develop their leadership, and their faith strengthens as they continually think about how the club can continue to grow and reach out to others at school. Calgary HSM places an emphasis on students and their leadership as the core of the ministry, and aims to build up students’ faith to remain strong through transitional periods in their futures.

Josephine Tam has worked part-time with students in Calgary since 2021. She loves seeing students grow in their confidence and in their leadership! In her spare time, you can find Josephine lifting weights at the gym, going out to eat good food with friends, or resting at home with her cat.

Rachel Schmidt works with Pioneer Camp Alberta to coordinate Sr Camp summer programs and the Leadership in Training Program. Rachel loves to invite youth to apply what they learn at camp in the summer into their relationships at school and at home. She is married to Ben and when she’s not working she can be found in the great outdoors or trying out a new hobby!
