In December, 16,000 students will join together to learn from missionaries around the world. 16,000 students will be equipped with the tools and connections they need to step into their calling within God’s global mission. They’ll be inspired by those who have gone before them; prayed for by those supporting them; taught by those sending them.

This is Urbana.

Hosted by InterVarsity, Urbana is a student mission’s conference that spans five days in St. Louis, taking students on a spiritual, multi-cultural adventure to discern God’s global calling on their lives.

Our vision for Urbana 18 is to send 2,000 participants from Canada. In order to make that goal a reality we are putting together a group of ambassadors that will intentionally invite students and church groups alike to experience what God may have for them at Urbana 18.

What’s involved in being an Urbana Ambassador:

• Identifying key students and churches and sharing about Urbana with them
• Personally Inviting students to attend
• Posting Urbana updates to social media

Our team will be here to support you! One of the best parts about being an ambassador is serving with a team of people across the country. With that, we will be working with our Urbana Ambassadors to equip, encourage and resource along the way.

We cannot overstate the importance of partnerships in this Urbana year. Because of our Urbana Ambassadors, more students will encounter God at Urbana18 and discern their place in his global mission!
