MG grew up in Ethiopia to parents and family deeply concerned with youth and young adult’s ministry, where his passions and care for the work that InterVarsity does stems from. After moving to Canada in 2014 he got connected with an IV camp and eventually grew to serve at the camp and develop both in his faith and his interest in the ministry. He now serves the general movement as a project coordinator focused on specific fundraising initiatives and internal communications.
