Inter-Varsity’s Graduate Student and Faculty Ministries seek to achieve three goals among graduate students and faculty in Canada. First, we offer hospitality and a warm community for Christians and non-Christians alike, a place to belong during their rigorous and sometimes lonely pursuit of higher academics. Secondly, we offer a discipleship of the heart, inviting people to explore the claims of Jesus, interact with God in prayer, and have staff people as guides and mentors in their faith journey. And finally, we pursue discipleship of the mind, asking the broader questions, inviting students to explore how their academic disciplines intersect with the broader story of God, and to work at applying their faith to their studies, their life at the academy and their life beyond the university.
